Popularity CBD is getting bigger and bigger. People have started to seek out this cannabinoid for a large number of positive effects on the body. Whether it is for physical or mental health, we know through a number of international studies that it can affect many functions and activities in our body. But how exactly CBD does it work? We will try to explain this in the following article.

What is it CBD

Nowadays, the acronym CBD has become quite well known to the general public. CBD or cannabidiol is one of the main cannabinoidsthat are found in cannabis plants. And although it has a similar structure to THC, its effects are diametrically opposed. It has no intoxicating effect on the mind, it is not psychoactive and therefore has no ability to alter our consciousness in any way, and it helps the human body with a number of ailments that often afflict us.

CBD has an effect on many processes in our body because it interacts with our endocannabinoid system. This contains a large number of receptors that take care of the proper functioning of the organs and also affect mental well-being. We will learn more about this system in a future article on our blog. And what all can CBD affect and what are its beneficial effects?

To what CBD helps?

Although not all the beneficial effects are yet CBD documented by scientific research, we already know about dozens of documented effects on our organism. Cannabidiol can treat a large list of diseases and ailments. Whether it's its proven effects on physical or mental health. It can help in many ways, making it a versatile substance that we can use for our peace of mind, well-being and harmony. And in what ways will CBD become your trusty sidekick?

  • Insomnia

About 45% people in the Czech Republic have sleep problems. Which is a very high number. Many people deal with insomnia with strong medication, but this puts a strain on organs such as the liver, kidneys, heart and even the brain. In addition, we can develop an addiction to medication over time and then we can't sleep without it. Luckily, CBD is here!

Cannabidiol has a positive effect on our receptors and induces psychological well-being, relieves stress and relaxes. This results in inducing a restful and good quality sleep and therefore a long and undisturbed rest. CBD does not inherently put us to sleep, but it does address many of the surrounding causes that prevent us from getting a full night's sleep.

  • Anxiety and stress

Many studies have confirmed that CBD acts as a natural antidepressant. Most participants agreed that they experienced great psychological relief, whatever the cause. This is precisely because cannabidiol interacts with our brain's processes and binds closely to serotonin. Which is a chemical that affects both our emotions and our motor skills.

Low serotonin levels lead to depression, which CBD can easily reverse. Thanks to its significant action on the 5-HT1A receptor, which releases serotonin into the body. CBD stimulates this receptor to work better and more efficiently while producing serotonin. This results in better mood, balance and peace of mind.

  • Pain and chronic pain

So that they can cannabinoids to function properly in the human body, it is necessary to develop habits for regular use and to follow them. Only such consumption will relieve the more serious types of pain.

CBD can help relieve many types of pain. Whether it is acute, inflammatory, chronic or even neuropathic. Pain sufferers should start with a dose of around 5 to 10 mg of CBD. If relief is not forthcoming, they can increase their CBD intake by another 5 to 10 mg until they feel the desired effect. Even higher dosages can be started, as CBD is non-toxic and non-narcotic and cannot be overdosed.

What other effects does CBD have?

CBD is also effective in a wide range of other diseases, illnesses and ailments. It is able to fight depression and helps with Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. It also treats joint and limb swelling. It deals with various rashes, eczema and effectively gets rid of skin acne. It has also been shown to make life easier for cancer patients. Not only can it cope with lack of appetite, but it also helps with muscle regeneration and maintains the overall condition of the organism, thus significantly improving health and giving strength in the fight against this insidious disease.

And where else will CBD find a use?

Our list doesn't stop here, but we don't have conclusive studies and scientific findings to confirm the other effects that CBD has. However, the experiences of many CBD cannabis users can be a stepping stone to other discoveries yet to come.

What else does CBD help with?

  • ADHD
  • Immunity
  • asthma
  • Autism
  • menstrual pain
  • Migraines
  • scattered
  • Sclerosis
  • Tourette's syndrome
  • Sclerosis
  • Crohn's disease
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy

What forms of CBD to choose?

The form in which we consume CBD can also affect the onset and strength of the effects associated with cannabidiol. The fastest route of absorption is through inhalation, as this delivers the active ingredient directly into the bloodstream through the lungs. The onset of reaction is very rapid in this case, but the desired effect does not last as long. With CBD drops and oils, it takes longer to see a reaction as the extract has to enter the digestive tract and then be processed by the liver. As this use is linked to regular consumption, the effects are more lasting.

But as we know, there is no normative dose for CBD that can guarantee the same effect for everyone. In general, it is said that 25-50 milligrams in a daily dose should be quite sufficient in the early stages of use. However, be aware that you can always increase your CBD intake, so we recommend starting with a lower dose, which you can increase or decrease depending on your body's response to find the optimal dose that will benefit all of your bodily functions.
