CBD
Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica or Cannabis rudelaris are plants that have evolved on the southwestern slopes of the Himalayas and have a very long history. They were known to our ancestors in prehistoric times. We can find references to this really very beneficial plant in the Bible or in the ancient Indian Vedas. For centuries, people planted and lovingly tended it for its useful and very beneficial properties before it was banned as a supposedly dangerous drug in the 20th century.
However, hemp seed has a very low psychotropic content and is primarily intended for the production of fibre and oil from the seeds. From these seeds, the very beneficial CBD is then extracted by slow, loving pressing.
What is CBD and how does it work?
CBD, like THC, is an integral part of cannabis. It is a cannabidiol (a precursor of THC in the biosynthesis of the plant's cells) which, unlike THC, is not psychoactive, but its highly positive effects on the human body are unquestionable. CBD has a direct effect on the human endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for many other processes in the human body. CBD acts on CB1 receptors located in the brain, kidneys or lungs and CB2 receptors, which are part of our immune system. CBD puts a shield between THC and the CB1 and CB2 receptors, thus not causing an altered state of consciousness (which is caused by THC) and also makes it easier for other cannabidiols that are beneficial to our bodies to interact with the receptors. CBD is available in the form of oils, capsules, tinctures, ointments or flowers.
Forms of CBD use
- CBD oil- this is the form of CBD you'll encounter most often. CBD extraction is done in three ways: using cooking oil, organic solvents, or highly compressed carbon dioxide. CBD oils contain not only the aforementioned highly potent cannabinoids, but also terpenes and flavonoids with proven anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant and anti-psychotic effects. In our offer you can choose from certified oils made from tinctures not isolates from 3 concentrations: 5%-2 mg CBD in 1 drop, 10%- 8 mg CBD in 1 drop and 20%. The 5% concentration is a good place to start. It is advisable to drip the required amount on a spoon or directly under the tongue, as this will result in a faster onset of effects.
- CBD tincture - is produced by extracting the cannabis plant in alcohol or glycerin. It is a very concentrated preparation. For this reason, a very small amount is taken.
- CBD ointment - is made directly from oil pressed from hemp seeds. It is suitable for skin problems such as dandruff, acne, various rashes, but also for muscle pain. It is applied directly to the affected area, twice a day and gently massaged into the skin. The relieving effects appear within an hour after application of the ointment.
- CBD capsules - The advantage of capsules is that they are easier to consume and have a higher proportion of cannabidiol. However, the effect is delayed after the cannabidiol has passed through the person's digestive tract.
- CBD flowers - these are specially bred varieties containing a minimum proportion of THC and a high CBD content of up to 23%. You can not only smoke the flowers or use them in a vaporizer, but also prepare a medicinal tea from the flowers of this plant or add them to food. The ideal combination is with meat, avocado, eggs, olive oil or nuts. Or bake cookies, i.e. delicious cookies.

The beneficial effects of medicinal cannabis containing CBD are both proven by scientific research and tested over centuries. They greatly help to improve the health of people who are seriously ill.
