Flavonoids

Flavonoids are chemical compounds present in cannabis and give the plants different colours. They also attract pollinators and potentially protect plants from UV rays, pests and diseases. The flavonoids found in cannabis are called 'cannflavins' and contribute to the overall colour of the plant. They can also affect the aroma and therapeutic profile of cannabis.
