Indica

Indica is one of the cannabis plant species along with sativas. Indica are short, dense, have broad leaves and are also known for having a shorter growing time than sativas. Some users prefer sativa varieties, others indica and some their hybridised forms. However, it is not always certain that a sativa or indica strain has specific effects, as these are determined by the chemical profile of the strain and not by whether it is an indica or a sativa: two indicas can lead to two different effects, and the same strain can affect two users quite differently.
